No, we didn’t betray you.
Wanted.
But they couldn’t.
You have grown in us through everything,
Don’t rush and don’t delay.
And we, thanking and cursing,
Follow you.

Aged funny pretentious boys,
Aged funny pretentious girls
They meet each other in inexpensive eateries in Moscow and St. Petersburg
And they drink alcohol
They meet each other in the district libraries of Moscow and St. Petersburg
And read poetry to each other.
And often good ones.
Such meetings also take place in the provinces,
At the same time, the quality of alcohol and poetry is worse there.
They all want to be heard
And they don’t want to listen.
So they want to be loved
(For their poems and for themselves)
And they don’t want to love.
But it has to.

It is already light in the forest, but still quiet.
All the animals are still sleeping in their minks,
Gathering strength for a new day.
Pretty soon they’ll be fucking and gnawing each other again
Reproduce their own kind and get food for them.
And in your free time, have fun.
But now they are sleeping…
