Poetry in English

Spring

The spring song, you are in my heart,
Your image stays in my mind,
How the sun shines all day long,
& the moon illuminates the night.

Vivid dreams

Sunrise in the blue skies.
The dawn is coming with a light
In the pinkish haze of clouds
Over the houses of sleeping towns.

Delicate pastel colours.
Springtime is fresh and sound.
Created from sacred hopes,
In love with the scent of blossom.

The deluge of rain showers
The fields of blooming flowers.
Rain beats on green leaves
Reviving vivid dreams!

Emerald spring

Emerald spring!
The golden rays of the sun,
Waking up from sleep,
Shine from under the clouds.

Emerald fields!
Mountains, like crystal,
Along the purest stream —
Malachite forests.

Emerald evening!
A weightless breeze is
Barely blowing.
Ice is melting on the rivers.

Happiness

Happiness.
Quiet and loud,
In company and in solitude,
In nature and in the city…
It will overtake you unexpectedly
and then remain in a hidden corner
of your soul,
Only yours,
Forever.

To the ocean

I run from a height to the ocean,
The sea-green surface I see.
I taste the smell of the sea,
I feel breeze! I feel so emotion!

The wind blows my hair with caution.
The waves start to light up with
The rays of the sun through the mist…
I run towards my healing potion.

Poseidon’s vastness in motion.
A bright beam of light beckons me —
I cannot help myself with this.
I’m running towards to the ocean.

Time

Oh, darling, call me to the south…

The moon and stars are glowing bright,

Hugging in the dusky night,

They promise only peace and quiet…

Take me with you to paradise.

The measured rustle of waves sounds,

There, the sun shines all year round,

And even the time seems to slow down…

I want to live this way for years

And every day thank God at dawn

For freedom, for the sea, for love,

To have no worries and no cares.

Dance

We were dancing in the moonlight
To the murmur of the sea.
We were dancing in the morning
To the rustle of palm trees.

We were in a dancing talk.
Step, then turn. The hearts are beating.
Question – answer – touch,
And the words are streaming…

We were dancing in the moonlight
To the murmur of the sea,
To the bird’s song in the morning —
Whole life dancing, it’s a dream!

In your eyes

We listen to a guitar sound,
with music we can dance for hours,
I look into your eyes…

They have so much of joy and happy,
love and fidelity, and passion:
the whole world is inside your eyes…

You smile to me with open arms,
I feel at home inside your hug.
I look into your eyes…

You know that days and years may pass.
The only thing remains unchanged:
the whole world is inside your eyes!

Fiery greetings

Salty warm drops of spray…
There is light in the grey.
That’s the orange sun drives.
The horizon makes bright.

From the sea a light breeze
Caresses palm trees.
The glass lies, heart-shaped stone,
Among shells on the shore.

From the colourful sky
The first ray of sunshine
Sends its fiery greetings
To the soft waves swishing.

In love with the sea

Who heard the whisper of the waves,
Who fell asleep with ocean noises,
Felt peace and freedom in his soul,
He’ll fall in love with the sea, I know.

The rumble of distant cities has ceased.
The water caresses gently like silk
Drawing whimsical patterns in the sand…
Just sea-green expanses, the salty scent…

Who heard the murmur of the sea,
How seagulls squawking, rustle of palm trees,
Felt the waves rolling down his feet,
I know, he will never forget the sea!

The clouds

What colour are the clouds?
And what if the outlines
Are right before the skyline,
Can you say, ’they are white’?

When sunrise or sunset,
The clouds are on fire.
A sun ray makes them rich,
Or paints them with pale pink.

Like a white-grey veil,
Mist descends from heaven.
The fog envelops seas,
Forests, cities, and fields.
