Story 1. Dream

– Masha! Where are you! Please respond!

I ran through the ruins of an old castle. Its pillars were askew, and the stairs were in a state of disrepair. Spiders willingly spun a web in the openings.

I ran through the great hall, my feet dragging me into the ominous darkness. Suddenly, I fell and broke my knee. Dead, cold eyes stared back at me from the darkness. I screamed and ran in terror to the other end of the hall. But wherever I ran, behind whatever columns I hid, I was followed by a monstrous gaze.

At some point, an empty voice rang out in the hall.

«You were looking for Masha?» Get it!

A girl flew out of the darkness. She was weak, and there were blue bags under her eyes. Masha said in a weak voice:

«Petya… Petya… Petya. Petya! Pe-e-e-eta!!!

Story 2. Morning

«Petya… Petya. Pe-e-e-eta! – Masha tried to wake me up and shook me by the shoulder. «Wake up! Get up! You’ll oversleep school!

«Ah… you know…»

– Finish your demagoguery! It’s half an hour to school, «my sister cut me off.

Although she was younger than me, she was brisk and domestic. However, the place where we live requires it. Siberia, workers ' province.

I yawned, dressed, brushed my teeth, and went down to breakfast. On the stairs, I smelled the delicious smell of pancakes. As soon as my mother saw me, she said:

«Sit down to breakfast, hero!

«Why a hero,» I said.

– Yes, you have exams today! Masha couldn’t resist and immediately burst out laughing.

– Exams!? I repeated dejectedly.
